The class will be held in the Center for Access and Innovation (CAI) building, which fronts Opal Street, the cross street is the Roosevelt address listed for the college.

There’s a Holiday Inn Express just to the north of the training facility. 

Course Hours:  8 a.m. to 5 p.m.   Late cancels and no-shows are billed full tuition.

A laptop is strongly suggested for small group video analysis and case studies.  We recommend that you download the case studies & videos in advance to a laptop or tablet using the link below.  We’ve disabled the link due to spam filters.  Just cut and paste:

The instructor will also provide USBs in class for downloading them to laptops, but you need to do it in advance if you want it on a tablet (tablets don’t take USBs).

Pre-Course Suggested Reading List:  Go to and click the Articles/Documents tab for some suggested pre-reading.  Force Encounters Analysis is a university-level science course on the application of human performance science to police use of force.  Please prepare accordingly by digesting some of the basic info from this reading list of articles and papers.  They will undoubtedly make the course easier for you.
