Force Encounters Analysis is one of the best courses that I have ever taken in regards to contemporary issues surrounding use of force.  Five Stars.

I will never judge an incident solely on video content and the "that looks bad" theory again.

It answered a lot of questions - some I didn't know I had until I took this class (Force Encounters Analysis).

This course is invaluable to any individual on the job, or whose job it is to understand or explain police action.

The Human Factors course is priceless training.  I suggest it for everyone who intends to promote or develop their organization.

Because the Office of the District Attorney reviews all OIS matters in California, and I am currently the Deputy District Attorney in charge of oversight and review, I attended the three-day Force Encounters Analysis course provided by California Training Institute.  My report to my Office following this class was that it was the best class I have taken in the last twenty years and am recommending all attorneys who sit on the OIS Review Board to attend.  Although the course may not contain traditional training in the law and statutes that apply, the science is essential in properly analyzing OIS matters for criminal culpability.  If you need any information or opinion, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

I have sought out the information in this presentation myself over the past couple of years.  Seeing it all presented in such a coherent and comprehensive manner pleased me beyond words.  This IS the most important information that someone in my position can receive in order to safely and effectively perform my duties in these times.  Thank you so much, Craig, for bringing our profession this knowledge.

My favorite segments of the class were the segments on hooded training w/ Navy Seals (also heard others in class raving about this), Hick's Law, and cognitive interviewing.  I have a greater understanding now for not only OIS but any use of force and reaction times thereafter.  I love the flexibility of the instructors to go slightly off-topic to answer our questions and drive points home.  Well done!

Hands down the best course I've attended for use of force.  The practical exercise 'final' was huge!  Five stars!

I will look at shootings/use of force in a much different light now.  Actions that I previously viewed as poor training could actually be physiological.
